It's always seemed that I've had a lot of friends in the music business, as long as I can remember. Few that I have ever known have deserved success more then Brian and Amanda though. They are like nothing I have ever seen or heard before, and they are The Dresden Dolls. When you're touring with Nine Inch Nails and Cindy Lauper, I guess you're doing ok.

So how big of a dork would I be if I made a post about a video game? Considering it wouldn't be the first time, it would probably be pretty damn dorky... Hmmm. Maybe I'll hold off on gushing about GTA IV for a few more days... I mean, I've barely started to scratch the surface of what it has to offer, so maybe I should reserve my judgment for later.

On an unrelated note... I got my new sleeping bag today! I wasn't expecting it for like another 6 days, but it came early! Oh happy day. It's not quite as nice as my last one, non-waterproof and doesn't have the built in pad straps (but it does have loops to attach them), but I think it's a little lighter and stuffs down smaller. It's also a 20 degree instead of 30, and down instead of synthetic, so it will be a little more versatile and extend my hiking season a little. Now to get my ass out there...
